The formula we use has been perfected over years of coaching pastors. It is tested, tried and proven to work. A vital prerequisite for each coach is to love pastors and their families. Each of our coaches have personal experience in church ministry. They have walked in the steps of our clients, so they understand the life of a pastor. Tall Oaks takes the responsibility of coaching God’s men and women seriously. We are constantly working to improve our coaching methods and skills. Every coach receives 90 minutes of coach training every month in our proven methods and industry standards. We believe this training, combined with their personal experience, makes them uniquely qualified as coaches. Our coaches are able to help our clients to weather the storms and keep living out their calling. Our clients have a coach walking with them through it all. Loving them, caring for them, nurturing them, believing in them, helping them and praying with and for them. This all happens, one on one, in total confidentiality. We become a safe place, full of love, respect and encouragement.

The next strategy in our coaching model is built around asking questions and gaining insights. This helps a pastor make the best decisions for their ministry and their life. Lastly, the foundation of our coaching is helping our clients maintain a solid personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the solid bedrock every pastor and spouse must build their life and ministry on. Without that relationship they will never be able to do the work God has called them to do.

Our Coaching Method

• Our coaching is customized to the needs of each individual client and Spirit led.

• We are not curriculum based but we do implement resources as needed.

• Coaching is 1-1 which allows us to have the most personal conversations.

• Our coaching is done in private, sound-proof offices or outside on our grounds in nature. (Due to Covid-19 we utilize Zoom when needed.)

• The scope of our coaching takes into account the personal issues, problems, sin, doubts, opportunities and spiritual discipleship of each individual client.

• Coaching is based upon a Biblical world view and grounded in the Word of God.

• We deal with the most common reasons pastors and spouses want to quit: loneliness, isolation, burnout, discouragement, defeat, along with a list of other reasons.

• We deal with the core – the #1 reason Pastors and their ministries fail: their lack of an ongoing daily relationship with Jesus.

• All of these and many more issues have become more troublesome over the past year because of the pandemic, and the swiftly accelerating spiritual decay of our nation.

• We love our clients regardless of issues or problems. This is a “No Condemnation Zone.”
